Welcome to the Youllogy Blog
Youllogy started with a simple, uncomfortable observation: our friends die, and we don't hear about it for months — sometimes years. We'd have gone to the funeral, sent flowers, shown up for the people left behind. We just never found out in time.
The flip side is just as common. When someone does pass away, it's almost always their most technically-capable relative who ends up scrambling to put together a slideshow, track down an old photo, or figure out who even needs to be called. That's a lot to ask of someone who's also grieving.
We built Youllogy so that doesn't have to be the default. Your list of people to notify, your obituary, your memorial wall — those should be your call, made ahead of time, not reconstructed by someone else under pressure.
This blog is where we'll write about that kind of planning: practical guidance for getting your affairs in order, for adult children helping a parent get organized, and for the harder conversations that tend to get put off. We'll also share stories and updates from Youllogy itself as the product grows.
If something here raises a question, or you want us to write about something specific, leave a comment below — we're reading them.
