Terms and Conditions

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a Youllogy account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information, including a valid email address, so that Youllogy and your designated contacts can reach you.

Youllogy lets you designate one or more "delegates" - trusted people who can, upon your death, trigger notification of your obituary and memorial content to your contacts. You understand and agree that:

• Activating this feature depends entirely on a delegate you chose taking action - Youllogy cannot independently verify a death has occurred.
• A built-in waiting period gives you a chance to dispute a false or premature report before anything is sent to your contacts, but this protection only works if you are able to respond during that window.
• Youllogy is not a substitute for a will, power of attorney, or other legal estate-planning instrument, and should not be relied upon as your sole method of notifying loved ones or executing your wishes.
• A one-time activation fee applies to enable this feature, as described on your account and at checkout.

• Paid plans, one-time fees, and gift cards are processed through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Prices and included features for each plan are described on our Pricing page and may change with notice.
• Subscriptions renew or expire as described at the time of purchase; you can manage or cancel a subscription from your account settings.

If you opt in via Account Settings, Youllogy may send you a single backup text-message alert if a delegate (the emergency contact you've designated to report your passing) reports your passing, so you can dispute a false report. This is the only SMS messaging program Youllogy offers today.

• Message frequency: at most one message per account, only if a delegate initiates the death-notification process.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or reply HELP for assistance. You may also opt out at any time from Account Settings.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You agree not to:

• Use Youllogy to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including falsely reporting someone's death.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes another person's rights.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Youllogy is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that notifications will be delivered, that delegates will act, or that any particular outcome will occur through use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Youllogy and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
